karma and reincarnation

Karma, Past Lives, Reincarnation, Soul, Astral Body, Death

Past life regression goes hand in hand with theories of reincarnation. This is a concept that has evoked a variety of reactions in the western world, from ridicule to condemnation — essentially fear-based reactions to something unfamiliar and misunderstood. Interestingly enough, although publicly people may joke about prior lifetimes, millions of people have read books on the subject of reincarnation.

Reincarnation suggests this is not our first life on Earth and it’s most likely not our last. The Hindu perspective suggests we have been around for millions of lifetimes and that there may be millions ahead. In that sense, we are all “old souls.”

The Bhagavad Gita, the ancient text of India suggests that the soul leaves when the body dies. The type of body and psychological disposition — likes, dislikes, phobias, etc., one receives upon rebirth is dependent on the karma within that one life combined with the actions from previous lives. By some inconceivable system, all of one’s positive and negative deeds are recorded. This means, no one gets away with anything. Moreover, all positive and negative actions create within the individual a psychological disposition to continue performing that action. For example, if one starts stealing or gets in the habit of lying and doesn’t try to change these tendencies, then in the next life, one will pick up where they left off. The same goes for positive actions.

When the body reaches its demise, the mind and soul get transferred into, hopefully, another human womb. Even while in the womb, the mind remains active and is recalling events from the previous life.

Souls can decide to stay on “the other side” rather than come back for another lifetime after discarding its body, especially if they’ve worked through all of their karma during previous lifetimes which is very uncommon. Or they may decide to learn their lessons in other ways or help others on earth from the other side. But apparently, most souls are eager to return to earth to play the roles they were born to star in.

Karma literally means “deed or act,” but more broadly describes the principle of cause and effect. Simply stated, karma is the law of action and reaction which governs consciousness. In physics-the study of energy and matter-Sir Isaac Newton postulated that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. Push against a wall. Its material is molecularly pushing back with a force exactly equal to yours. In metaphysics, karma is the law that states that every mental, emotional and physical act, no matter how insignificant, is projected out into the psychic mind substance and eventually returns to the individual with equal impact.

The akashic memory in our higher chakras faithfully records the soul’s impressions during its series of earthly lives, and in the astral/mental worlds in-between earth existences.

Many people believe in the principle of karma, but don’t apply its laws to their daily life or even to life’s peak experiences. There is a tendency to cry during times of personal crisis, “Why has God done this to me?” or “What did I do to deserve this?” While God is the creator and sustainer of the cosmic law of karma, He does not dispense individual karma. He does not produce cancer in one person’s body and develop Olympic athletic prowess in another’s. We create our own experiences. It is really an exercising of our soul’s powers of creation. Karma, then, is our best spiritual teacher. We spiritually learn and grow as our actions return to us to be resolved and dissolved. In this highest sense, there is no good and bad karma; there is self-created experience that presents opportunities for spiritual advancement. If we can’t draw lessons from the karma, then we resist and/or resent it, lashing out with mental, emotional or physical force. The original substance of that karmic event is spent and no longer exists, but the current reaction creates a new condition of harsh karma.

Responsibility resolving karma is among the most important reasons that a Guru is necessary in a sincere seeker’s life. The Guru helps the devotee to hold his mind in focus, to become pointedly conscious of thought, word and deed. Without the guidance and grace of the Guru, the devotee’s mind will be splintered between instinctive and intellectual forces, making it very difficult to resolve karma. Only when karma is wisely harnessed can the mind become still enough to experience its own superconscious depths.

Each soul has absolute free will Its only boundary is karma. Gods do not dictate the experiential events of our lives, nor do they test us. And there is no cosmic force that molds our life.

In our conscious mind we think and feel ourselves to be a physical body with some intangible spirit within it. Yet, right now our real identity is the soul that is sensing through its multiple bodies physical, emotional and mental experience. Recognizing this as reality, we powerfully know that life doesn’t end with the death of the biological body. The soul continues to occupy the astral body, a subtle, luminous duplicate of the physical body. This subtle body is made of higher-energy astral matter and dwells in a dimension called the astral plane. At death, the soul slowly becomes totally aware in its astral/mental bodies and it predominantly lives through those bodies in the astral dimension.

The soul functions with complete continuity in its astral/mental bodies. It is with these sensitive vehicles that we experience dream or “astral” worlds during sleep every night. The astral world is equally as solid and beautiful, as varied and comprehensive as the earth dimension-if not much more so.

Because certain seed karmas can only be resolved in earth consciousness and because the soul’s initial realisations of Absolute Reality are only achieved in a physical body, our soul joyously enters another biological body. At the right time, it is reborn into a flesh body that will best fulfil its karmic pattern. During our thousands of earth lives, a remarkable variety of life patterns are experienced.  Therefore, the Hindu knows that the belief in a single life on earth, followed by eternal joy or pain is utterly wrong and causes great anxiety, confusion and fear. Hindus know that all souls reincarnate, take one body and then another, evolving through experience over long periods of time.

Heal through past lives| Regression Therapy |PLRT| PLR Therapy

Many of us believe that we all travel through many lifetimes, time periods, and situations through a process of reincarnation. Even those of us who doubt this concept recognize that there is often merit in the symbolism of past life memories. Beyond just being interesting, what makes these memories so important to uncover in our current lifetimes? Why spend the time meditating or the money working with a past life reader to uncover these vital truths?

Past lives are one of the easiest ways to understand our current pains, egoic patterns, and repeating life situations. We all know what it’s like to feel stuck in a cycle, where a bad situation just seems to keep repeating and repeating, without any clear answer of how to escape it into a place of more joy and freedom. Fortunately, past life memories give us a new insight into these seemingly inescapable patterns. Through over thousands of past life readings, I’ve come to realize this over and over—our memories are often synonymous with advice we need to hear. When we view these memories, we have an objective take on them, making it much easier to examine what is going on than it is to have honest introspection directly towards a current stressful situation.

Sometimes in life, we encounter physical or emotional problems that have no obvious cause. Therapy doesn’t help, pills don’t work — and it’s easy to assume you’ll be stuck with your fatal flaws for ever.

But what if there was a way of digging deep into your memory to find out just what was causing the problems — so deep that you look at what happened to you in your past lives?

The idea that we’ve been here before might sound less credible than a Doctor Who script, but, according to exponents of Past Life Regression Therapy, this kind of time travel not only exists, it’s so powerful that it can change your life.

There are behaviors, thoughts and feelings that you keep repeating…or that feel ‘bigger’ than this life…or you have issues that you have continually and diligently worked on in therapy (or in other ways) in this lifetime that you have been unable to resolve…

Chances are these issues originated in prior lifetimes and you are reliving them in this lifetime.

Your task is to be aware and understand what you are dealing with from past lives and in your current life — and rise to the challenge to work on and resolve these issues rather than carry them forward into yet another lifetime!

Larger Than This Life Issues

As a past life therapist, I continually see clients struggling with issues which have gone unresolved over the course of many lifetimes.

The issues are often the ‘big’ issues people bring to their mental health professional…

  • a sense of abandonment
  • not fitting in or belonging
  • lack of self-esteem/self-worth
  • inability to trust
  • relationship issues
  • among others…

And pervasive or overwhelming beliefs and feelings, such as feeling…

  • like a failure
  • guilty
  • like I don’t matter
  • no one understands me
  • deserving of punishment or bad things happening
  • like I have to do it all alone
  • trapped
  • hopeless
  • life is too painful
  • life is too difficult
  • life isn’t safe
  • and the list goes on…

When these issues feel larger than this life, they usually are!

Reiki and Past Life Regression Therapy

What is Past Life Regression?

Past life regression is a method to visit your past or rather go back to that part of your subconscious mind which has memories stored off all the lives you have lived and can see flashes of it to understand, what are the deeds done by you in those lifetimes whose consequences or repercussions are being faced by you in this lifetimes. It is not only the consequences but also few repeated patterns which keep happening to you in this lifetime too.

How does PLR (Past Life Regression) help?

When we access our past life memories it helps us release the pain, confusion, estrangement, negative emotions and painful memories instantly, hence immediate healing happens. Also it stops the occurrence of repeated patterns in our life as we have released the negative karma associated with it hence helping us to live a much happier life.

Who should not get PLR done?

People who are just curious what they were in their previous or what happened in their past lives should not get PLR done. Also one has to be ready to accept what they “see” what happened in their past lives. I have known some people when they come for a PLR they would like to see someone they really like as their partner, some people do not realize over the years we all have been with each other but in different relations. One should realize PLR is a very sacred process and one should only do it if they are in some severe problem or have perpetual repeat patterns in their life.

What is Reiki?

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by “laying on hands” and is based on the idea that an unseen “life force energy” flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one’s “life force energy” is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.

The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words – Rei which means “Universal or the Higher Power” and Ki which is “life force energy”. So Reiki is actually “spiritually guided life force energy.”

Reiki is the life energy that flows through all living things. Reiki Practitioners understand that everyone has the ability to connect with their own healing energy and use it to strengthen energy in themselves and help others. It is believed that a person’s “ki” or energy should be strong and free flowing. When this is true a person’s body and mind is in a positive state of health. When the energy becomes weak or blocked it could lead to symptoms of physical or emotional imbalance.

Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and wellbeing. Many have reported miraculous results.

Reiki is a simple, natural and safe method of spiritual healing and self-improvement that everyone can use. It has been effective in helping virtually every known illness and malady and always creates a beneficial effect. It also works in conjunction with all other medical or therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery.

Its use is not dependent on one’s intellectual capacity or spiritual development and therefore is available to everyone. It has been successfully taught to thousands of people of all ages and backgrounds.

While Reiki is spiritual in nature, it is not a religion. It has no dogma, and there is nothing you must believe in order to learn and use Reiki. In fact, Reiki is not dependent on belief at all and will work whether you believe in it or not. Because Reiki comes from God, many people find that using Reiki puts them more in touch with the experience of their religion rather than having only an intellectual concept of it.

While Reiki is not a religion, it is still important to live and act in a way that promotes harmony with others. Mikao Usui, the founder of the Reiki system of natural healing, recommended that one practice certain simple ethical ideals to promote peace and harmony, which are nearly universal across all cultures.

How Reiki comes into picture?

Reiki is such a beautiful energy as it can travel across time and space, It can also be used generally use Reiki when one wants to get PLR done. As there are 2 healings happening at the same time, one through PLR and the other through Reiki. Though most people do PLR with hypnotherapy, it takes much longer for it to get done, and the pain is too much sometimes for the person to bear, the“effect” of the PLR can take some days to come in terms with.

How to combine the two?

If one wants to take the client to their past lives, one should balance their own and the clients chakras. Else later one can feel very tired and drained out.

  1.  After balancing the chakras, make the client lie or sit in a comfortable position, and ask them to take 3 deep breaths, so that their mind can become blank.
  2.  Ask them to state their intention thrice, after they do connect to their guides with the help of the distance symbol, and ask them to get your client through the past lives.
  3.  State the intention “Take my client to that life when he/she walked on this planet with some other identity, and the root cause of the intention that has been stated” thrice.
  4.  As you do so draw the distance symbol or the master symbol on their head, heart and solar plexus.
  5.  As you guide the client through the PLR session, keep drawing the emotional symbol on their third eye, heart and Solar plexus. Keep drawing them, till the time the process is not over. This is done to soothe the client’s emotions through the process.
  6.  Do not push the client for any information, as the conscious mind is always active and hence the client may start using their conscious mind and the whole purpose of the PLR will not be successful.
  7.  Once the client has done accessing their past lives, guide them back slowly to their current environment. It is ok for the client to feel any pain, hurt during the process. It is to throw out the negativity.
  8.  Thank the guides and disconnect from their past by drawing a reverse Cho-Ku-Rei.

Past Lives do affect your Present Life

Past Lives do affect your Present Life

deer
Past lives make logical sense! Why would someone be born blind, or killed in war, or live in abject poverty when someone else lives in a happy family in peacetime and is financially secure? Also, why do some people have battles with a pattern of continuous bad luck that they are seemingly unable to change?

One way of looking at this is that before we incarnate onto this earth plane, we have the intention to work on certain lessons. When we fail at the end of a lifetime to learn that lesson, we get another chance to do a “make over” in another incarnation — with a different set of circumstances or sometimes with the exact person we were with before. But what often happens is that the lesson is still not learned, and therefore a pattern starts to develop. With each succeeding life, the pattern becomes more ingrained, resulting in greater difficulty to overcome it.

From this present life’s perspective, we are puzzled about why we should have this particular pattern or bad luck and how to release it. In actuality, it is just a particular lesson coming up again for resolution.

Fortunately, we can access this information easily through the use of hypnosis. Every memory we have ever had in any lifetime is recorded in our subconscious memory computer, and we can gain access to it through our conscious intention to do so in a very relaxed state.

Past life regression gets at the root from so long ago of when this pattern first began and through good understanding and forgiveness releases the pattern so that it never returns again in this present life or in subsequent lives.

Almost any unresolved issue begun in a past lifetime can affect our present circumstances in health, relationships, career, finances, fears, phobias and addictions.

One common fear is of one’s personal psychic or healing abilities. Someone may be fascinated by these subjects but have a terrific fear of developing them. Many times this can be caused by rejection, banishment, humiliation and even death (burning at the stake), for example, for being a medicine person in a past lifetime. Therefore, there is fear of developing these abilities again because of the subconscious fear that you may again suffer a similar fate. This pattern can be erased by forgiveness of the perpetrator(s) and remembrance of one’s innate psychic and healing abilities.

The following are other fears and patterns that may arise from past lives:

  • Fear of leadership — This can be caused by actual misuse of power or perceived, but not actual, misuse of power in a past life. For example, many people, particularly in the Midwest, have guilt over lives as Native Americans when, as chiefs or tribal leaders, they made decisions they thought were correct but had an adverse effect on their tribe, resulting in widespread death and loss of land. This guilt is misguided, because no matter what their decision, the result would have been the same.
  • Fear of intimacy — Many people with this issue were violated or abused in a previous lifetime and today still carry a lack of trust in and a fear of getting close to others.
  • Failure to let go of a relationship — People may need to repay karma to one another before letting go. Often, though, they fail to recognize when the karma has been completed and it is time to move on.
  • Money issues — These may be the result of greed to the point of harming others’ health and livelihood in a particular lifetime. In this lifetime, therefore, there is scarcity, money losses or failure to be able to make or save money.
  • Weight gain/loss issues — These sometimes are the result of past life food deprivation or starvation. In this lifetime, the person overeats because of a subconscious fear of not having enough food.
  • Illness — Some illnesses, especially those that are unexplained by the medical community, may have a direct basis in a past life. For other illnesses, past lives may be a contributing factor or trigger.

Many people feel actual physical symptoms during hypnosis, such as pain or pressure in their chest or head, shaking of the body, difficulty breathing, and crying. These symptoms go away by the end of the session.

If the perpetrator/victim is someone the client knows in this lifetime, additional dialogue is needed to release current misunderstandings based on the past.
